Hi Steve,

Thanks for reply to my post.

However, I still have problem. I follow your instruction on ICS, when I try to
create it on my wireless NIC, which is the one that connects to internet, the
network setup wizard gives out error and cannot create. When I check on the
wireless ip address, it is assigned automatic with an ip address 192.168.0.100.
I think some how my wireless router must have a 192.168.0.1 which causes the
conflict with the XP ics default 192.168.0.1 when creates the ICS. How can I
correct this problem???

Do I have to create the network bridge for the wireless NIC & the LAN NIC
sis900 which are the 2 cards on the XP computer (host ICS), so that when the
win98 (client ICS) LAN NIC NE2000 connects to WINXP LAN NIC sis900, the win98
will be able to go to internet via the wireless NIC on the XP computer?

Thanks.

You're welcome. When you reply to a message, please include the text
of the previous message, as I did above. That way, people who only
see the latest message can get the whole picture.

Yes, there's a conflict between the router's IP address and ICS. Your
idea of creating a network bridge is probably better than my
suggestion of using ICS! Forget ICS and follow the steps shown here:

XP ICS - Network Bridge
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...workbridge.htm

If it doesn't work, you might have to follow the steps here:

Bridge May Not Work With a Non-Promiscuous Mode Network Adapter
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=302348

If the bridge just won't work at all, you can fall back on ICS. In
that case, change the router's LAN IP address to a different subnet,
such as 192.168.1.1.
