Hi,

I am task to installe 2 x Win2K3 SBS servers, let's call them primary and
secondary.

Both server will handle same data/accounts. If primary server fails, the
secondary server will take over without interruption to the users. Is that
possible? If so, is there any step by step guide available to acomplish
this?

Thanks in advance,
Garry

Hey... I'm just guessing, but I think that requires some kind of High
Availability software.
I'm pretty sure Win2003 Stnd or R2 doesn't do it.

Hello Garry,

You can use clustering for this, but clustering requires Windows 2003 Enterprise
edition. Also you can only have one SBS in n a domain. Not possible to use
2 SBS servers. It is by design that the SBS DC has to hold the FSMO roles
and in one domain this you can not have doubled.
