not sure if this is really a ie question but thought to start here due to
the title of the popup window,
'enter network password'
the request is for the subject above 'please enter your authentication
information'
and there are input boxes for username and password
so.. i get this when accessing a web page link to a ms excel file, if i just
hit cancel, i get the file anyway!
i have checked the ie security for internet and file download is enabled
i'm wondering if i need to change a network setting somewhere to allow a
download like this without the prompt?
