I used to play games over the network with my son, Worms, Doom etc. 2 PC's &
a hub.

Now I have a laptop and it wont work with my PC, laptop and wireless router.
I read somewhere I need to set up port forwarding, is this likely to be
correct before I go through the headache.

Are there drawbacks,

TIA,

Rick

Port forwarding may be necessary if the communicating parties are on
opposite sides of the router. On a wireless router, the LAN ports are on the
same side as wireless clients. I suspect port forwarding is irrelevant.
