Hi,

Over the past week my 1Meg Pipex conection has slowed down tp a speep of
just under 56k.

During the day it back to normal speed.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Contention. More users in the evening mean the bandwidth has to be
shared between you. Generally the less you pay the higher the
contention and the bigger the potential problem.

Pipex also use traffic management so this maybe the reason for your slow
speeds. Have you contacted Pipex support?
