Pipex outage today due to a super upgrade taking longer than intended?

Mail servers actually responding instantly?

More likely that the services are faster because no one's using them
(yes, the fault is fixed. no, not everyone knows that yet)

Lol I doubt it.

This is what usually happens after an outage as not everyone is sitting
there watching the connection waiting for the minute it comes back on.

Normal service will be resumed shortly. Until everyone has reconnected it
will appear to be quite responsive.

Real shame. For a while there was hope. It was like this when I first joined
just over 2 years ago.

True.

Then we had the redback incident and it's all been downhill from there
