Won't last

But yes it's now as fast as it was yesterday at the same time.

When being chased by a hungry dragon, you only have to out run the slowest
person in the group... not the dragon.

Won't stay :/

In our attempts to fix this, we made a configuration error
that has as result that nothing got fed anymore to the binary
spool. So you had the whole binary spool available to
server articles. Ofcourse that was fast, but getting no
new articles doesn't really help either does it. Has been
fixed in the mean time, but we're back to the old situation...

Is this why no text messages have been appearing in binary groups for
the last day or so?

Ooops. Nah sooner have near 100% completion Jan please Mind you if
you don't try these things you wont be able to find out what's wrong and
fix it.

Hrm, shouldn't be. Textarticles follow a different route, as long
as they are detected as textarticles.

Weird, there were no text messages appearing since about 1pm on the
10th until today. I'd sent some myself that hadn't shown, so I went to
Teranews to check I'd posted them properly and found tons of
discussions and requests had been going on all day that weren't
appearing here. Seems to be working fine today tho :-)

BTW, to everyone who moans about the slowness of this server and said
there's none as bad... just try using Teranews! It takes about 30
seconds to display one message and sometimes won't even retrieve
headers and just freezes. Posting doesn't even work sometimes. Bah.
