Hi, I got my mac code from pipex and left to go to adsl24 in november last
year.
They`ve been taking money from my credit card ever since.
Despite numerous telephone calls and promises they never stopped (
My credit cards expiry date ended in april and they havent been able to take
last months payment.
Now I`m getting automated phone calls and now a threatening letter telling
me my phone can only now make 999 calls etc since I owe them money for the
phone.
I have never had my phone with bloody Pipex only broadband.
I phone up the number they gave me which leads to an indian call centre that
says they can do nothing and I have to call customer services.
Which I have what must be 15times?
Always the same promise of a refund and cancellation but a day later I`m
getting bloody automated phone calls from India again.
I`ve got in touch with my credit card company and sent them details.
I`m just worried about my credit rating ( Think I`ve given up of ever
getting a refund!
Is there anything anybody could suggest I try?

Change your payment to DD, then cancel it with your bank,
then chase Pipex for wht they owe you.

And how can he change his payment if Pipex won't discuss the problem?
How do you know they will cancel the credit card payment? Using this
approach OP could end up paying twice.

If Pipex are still charging hime then there is a high probability that
his account is still open.
Log on via Tiscali web site, change payment details to DD.

But once a DD is unpaid won't they then use the credit card continuing
payment authority already in place to collect the money using the
credit card?
