sorry if this is a repeat, but I find that postings sometimes seem a bit
hit or miss when it comes to arriving in the newsgroup
Phil T - sorry, should have read "can't access the internet".
Rob M - when I ping the router I am looking for the network port of the
router so even if my MAC address is prohibited access to the internet I
would still get a ping response, wouldn't I? Could be wrong here. Anyway
I have not set any MAC filters.
