Okay maybe a little of subject but it still relates...

I am a big(ish) gamer I like UT, CS and all the other FPS. I currently get a
ping of between 300-500 on dial-up.

I am moving to BB soon but am deciding on whether to get 512kb or 1mb
connection and wanted to know what my realistic pings would be with each of
these connections - can anybody enlighten me...

Thanks
Domestos

Pings would be much the same on 512Kbps and 1Mbps, as long as your
connections aren't totally saturated that is.

I tend to get up to about 120ms playing Natural Selection (a HL mod)
which has notoriously bad ping rates - all this while i`m downloading at
the same time too :-p
