Hi

I created a VPN connection between a workstation and an offsite server.

I did a ping and a tracert. Here are the results.

tracert 192.168.0.2: The route traced to server.external.net.

ping server.external.net: The reply IP was 65.55.2xx.3n.

At this point, the workstation lost internet connection. If I disconnected
the VPN, the internet resumed. Please let me know how to correct this.

Thanks
Steve

That is the expected behavior. When you make a VPN connection, your
current default route is disabled and replaced by a default route through
the VPN. See KB 254231.
