I'm no longer with BT for phone or BB - who do I report a suscpected problem
with my line to? Is it still BT or my new supplier (tiscali)?

You are Tiscalis customer so where do you think you have to go?

It's now up to your CP to decide whether they are going to get BT
Wholesale &/or Openreach involved.

Such are the joys of LLU.....

I have to get my Indian neighbour to call Tiscali for me as he has no
problem communicating with them. I feel disadvantaged speaking English in
England.
Good luck with Tiscali, they are crap, lie to customers an don't resolve
problems. They also have hopefully sacked the incompetent engineers they
had a few weeks ago.

It's not that I can't understand what they say, but it's like speaking to an
automated robot or something, spouting the same old rubbish.

Can't be worse than the two "Cousins of Borat" that Teleworst sent round
to install my broadband a few years back. They left me a note with the
helpline number because they couldn't get the system up and running and
managed to ruin my cable TV connection. :-)
