An Unsecured network named "NETGEAR" pops up once in while. Could this
be something else transmitting on the same freq? I am puzzled. Help Please

More than likely, you're picking up a faint signal from a neighbor's access
point. If your AP allows, set it to ignore or exclude the unfamiliar AP. I
don't recommend you access it. It could be a dummy network or a network
setup to do harm to anyone accessing it. Anyway, take care.
