Hi ng,

I would like to now if it's possible to give special rights on a DHCP.
Target is : that some of my user can make a reservation and delete also one.
But they should not be able to change the server options or create new
Scopes etc.

Is it possible?

regards
Matthias

Hello Matthias,

Normal users should be able to make any changes on the server or also not
logon to the server. Are your users domain admins or have administrator accounts?

Best regards

Hi Meinolf,

the Users are no Domain Admins or have Administrator Privileges on the
Server. The Final result must be that they can the use the DHCP Snap In on
there local PC's and make IP reservations or delete them.
But when I pick the users into the build in group : DHCP Administrator there
are able to change the Server options as well...

regards
Matthias

Hi Bill,

cause the colleagues are no DHCP Administrators and I see some security
Problems if they have the chance to change the global options from the DHCP
Server.
