Periodic Loss of wireless connectivity

I have a MN-700 and I will periodically lose connectivity
to it from my wireless connected laptops. The firmware is
up to date on the base and the computers are running XP
pro with SP2. When they lose the signal and I try to
reconnect they cant even find the base SSID and will try
to connect to another available signal. Then magically my
SSID will reappear and I will have to manually connect
them. This behavior has just started but I am hoping it
is not hardware related. I have rebooted the the base a
few times to see if that would cure the issue but it
returns. Not quite sure why its doing this. Thanks.

Hi,

This usually occurs if you're expericing interference from other wireless
networks or from other 2.4GHz wireless devices such as cordless phones,
microwaves, wireless video receiver/transmitters etc.

You can experiment around by changing the wireless network channel in the
Base Station Management Tool, under the Wireless section. Then see if you
still get disconnected from your wireless network.

I have the same problem only mine reconnects automatically
after about 5 minutes. This happens EVERY DAY!!!! Someone
suggested I change the channel which I did (from 6 to 7 or
8) but no luck - it still drops! If you happen to find out
why this happens, please let me know.

I too have this problem and I DID change the channel from
6 to 7 (or 8). But it still happens. I do notice that when
it has dropped the connection (I cannot go into the
Management Tool, so I have to wait) it refers to Channel 6
again - The minute it comes back on (5-10 minutes later),
it shows the correct channel I set it to - say 7 or 8.

This is driving me nuts. If you happen to know what is
causing this, please let me know.

I am using Windows XP Home Edition.
