I have an old PC (P166MHz, MB: ASUS TP4XE). Win98 and Redhat 7.3 is
installed. I inserted an IBM Turbo 16/4 ISA Tokenring Adapter. I
configured the adapter to AUTO16 (the only mode which is supported
under Linux). Under Win98 I have no problems. Under LINUX the
Transferrate is awful between 200-300kb. Further the card is dieing
sometimes. A ifconfig tr0 down/up cleans that situation. I replaced
the card but this didn't also solve the problem.
a listing from dmesg (incl. ifconfig down/up):

ibmtr.c: v1.3.57 8/ 7/94 Peter De Schrijver and Mark Swanson
v2.1.125 10/20/98 Paul Norton <(E-Mail Removed)>

v2.2.2 07/27/00 Burt Silverman <(E-Mail Removed)>
v2.4.0 03/01/01 Mike Sullivan <(E-Mail Removed)>

I played with IRQs and RAM/ROM addresses -> no success.

Has someone any good idea?
greetings Robi
