Only right that I point out that my ADSL problems were nothing to do
with Plusnet.

A nice BT man arrived and the connection was perfect. The problem was a
faulty Netgear Ethernet modem/router, I tried a USB modem as well but
some idiot (yes that's me again) managed to install it incorrectly.

US Robotics replacement for the Netgear and PlusNet ADSL is perfect
great speeds and the world wide wait is a thing of the past!

Maybe you should have added this to the end of your thread "Plusnet ADSL
Tale of Woe" where you publicly slagged them. That way anyone searching the
archives sees the problem was entirely with you and nothing to do with
PlusNet.

Steven.

I meant you should have continued with the old thread "Plusnet ADSL Tale of
Woe" rather than start a new one!! So folk could have followed it through.

However my apologies as I never saw your other post "*****UPDATE*****
PLUSNET NOT AT FAULT " or at least I should say "Plusnet never downloaded it
from their Newsgroup for me" Plusnet have been good for me except their
missing posts!!

Although Freeserve gets blasted all the time for poor service I never missed
a single post while I was with them.

C'mon Plusnet get your act together with the newsgroups.

Steven.

Well I can assure you that I never got it. That is my only gripe about
them. Except maybe the time when I just got enabled and had problems
actually connecting, I phoned their customer support and felt the operator
tried his hardest to get me of the phone as quick as possible.
