Hi,

In order for a wireless client to connect to the network where the
IAS/RADIUS/AP is using PEAP for security, does the wireless client have to be
a member of the domain? Thanks.

Riley

Yes, the client must join the domain. Otherwise, you may receive Event ID 3
and reason code 5. This link may give you more troubleshooting.

IAS related Event IDs and Reason Codes: Event ID 2, 3,13 and 18; reason
codes: 5, 8, 16, 18, 22, 48, 49, 66, 70, 97 and 262.

Thanks, I guess that explains why this user can't login. I can't see any
errors in the IAS error log: c:\windows\system32\logfiles\IN080323.LOG or in
the windws system log. Is there a way to turn up the logging level in IAS?
