we setup PEAP-MSChapV2 using 2003 IAS - works fine with external USB2
wireless adapters. With internal PCI wireless, it works initially, but then
non-admin users lose the wireless connection. It then reconnects for a
couple seconds, disconnects, over and over. Users that are either local
admins or domain admins work well with either type of wireless card - any
ideas?

Only members of local admins stay connected, will examin this further,
posting back if I find out something.

I might have found the problem, not testet more than some hours yet but it
seems to be okay now.

The problem seemed to be related to the utilities installed with the Wlan
card. I removed all Wlan card related drivers and utils, reinstalled the card
by NOT using the setup procedure provided by the manufacturer, but let
Windows search the CD for drivers. Voila! Now the connections from
non-local-admins stay up.

Not sure yet if this is THE solution and why, but it worked with both Belkin
and Dlink nics - worth a try.

The fast changing authent. - deauth. intervals happened to me as well. But
this was only that the wlan client utility that we have installed don't
deactivated the windows 802.1x options. Thus the wlan client utility 802.1x
settings were in conflict with the windows 802.1x settings.

When we install the Cisco wlan utility this was no problem, because the
utility deactivated the 802.1x abilities of windows and took over control
automatically.
