Hello,

I'm preparing to use my Dell Latitude D620 and its 1390 WLAN Mini-Card
with the WLAN Card Utility (SW ver 4.10.47.3 / Driver ver 4.10.40.0) and
wish to use PEAP/MS-CHAPv2. What I need to know is if the Dell
supplicant sends the user identity info via the SSL tunnel or in clear
text during the 2nd phase of authentication. I've read where the Cisco
Aironet client uses the SSL tunnel but the Microsoft client is clear
text. For security reasons we need to have the user identity data in the
SSL tunnel. If anybody can answer this question, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks
BR
