Anyone know of some good pcmcia wifi cards with external antenna
connectors like the orinoco silver? That will work fine with linux TIA.

Orinoco Gold. The old version of Silver had it, but not the current version.
However the USB adapter is better for home use, easier to position for best
signal and no need for antenna etc.
Regards,
Martin

The SMC2532 is a good bet. It has removable card antenna which whne reveals
two reverse MMCX antenna connectors. It also has about twice or more output
power than the usual PCMCIA card. You can also purchase the SMCANT OM5
antenna for a few bucks if you feel you need it.
Works great for me.
