PCMCIA 802.11g Card Recommendations

I have a SMC 2635W 802.11b wireless card that I'm less than thrilled with.
The signal seems to fluctuate all over the place, even when sitting next to
the wireless router at home and elsewhere. I'm looking to replace it with
an 802.11g card and was wondering if anyone had pointers to a site with
product performance comparisons?

The first thing you need to do is investigate which is failing the
router or the 11b card.
The router can be checked with an other card in the PC, if still
failing then is the router.
as far as stability goes 11b or 11g both should perform well exept for
the difference in speed.

Thanks for the response. As I stated in my base note I see this at home
and at other locations. Thus I believe that it's the PCMCIA card.
However, I've followed several other notes in this forum and have found
pointers to several web sites with performance comparisons. For example:
