PCMCIA 802.11 cards

Does anyone know of a PCMCIA card (preferably 802.11a, but other standards
also) that when installed does not protude outside the laptop case with its
antenna?

It's not going to work very well.
You need some sort of antenna, the absolute minimum is what they use at
the moment.
Look for x-jack on the box, this folds away when not in use.
