Can someone recommend me a PCI wlan card that runs at 54Mbps to be used
as AP?
I've found this list, http://madwifi.org/wiki/Compatibility but there's
no reference to the AP mode.
Anyone was successful with the Asus WL-138g or any D-Link?
Thanks,

MatB

I am using madwifi with a Netgear WG311 54Mb PCI card [sorry don't
recall specific wifi chip] to create an access point. It works fine
with a Xterasys TI1130-based PCMCIA card & Win2k.

My sister-in-law's Vaio with D-Link DWL-650 & WinXP caused it to crash
[kernel-oops] @ 54Mb, but it didn't crash when I ran it @ 11Mb. I
downloaded & installed current madwifi, but won't have the opportunity
to test 54Mb again 'til May.
