Hi,

I have PcAnywhere installed at two locations. In one location just 8.02
version of PcAnywhere for Windows 98, and at other location same
version plus PcAnywhere older version for DOS:

I'am connecting two locations with modem connection.

One computer is PcAnywhere HOST and that computer is waiting
connection, other computer connects to that computer and establishes
connection. That part is OK (for Windows and DOS).

I have problem with displaying menu (or desktop) from one computer to
another (remotely). It shows me strange carachters both for connection
at DOS and Windows mode. Why is that??

Is there some problem with encryption?

How to fix that problem if anyone knows? thx

right off hand I'd say to reinstall your video card drivers...then the
program (although the DOS problem is strange)

Thank you all, I fixed the problem. It was as I said - encryption which
I turned off at both locations and now it's ok.
