PC unable to run Netlogon scripts

I have a pc running Windows XP Pro which is unable to run the Netlogon.vbs
script. Even when I double-click the file from the machine, the file is
simply opened as a text document and it does not execute.

How do I resolve this issue?

Are you really sure, that the extension ist *.vbs and not *.txt.vbs?
Browse this file in the command line please.
