pc and base-station

will other computers be able to access internet thru base
station even if i shutdown the laptop connected directly
to the base station ? i think yeah....but dont know for
sure.

Yes, you would. Now the base station is incharge & not
the computer (laptop in this case) that's connected to
the base station.
