I have an existing network with my internet computer (internal DSL modem)
hooked through a Microsoft MN500. I'm trying to add a computer running
windows 98 with a wireless pci card (not microsoft) I finally got it to
work except it requires the win98 computer to sign on to the win 2000
computer with a network password which I don't have. I went into the win
2000 computer and set up the other computer as an administrator with no pass
word required, but that did n't help. I have 2 other computers on this
network running win 98 with no problems. One hardwired and one wireless. Any
ideas?

Terry

You need to add the UserName and Password of the Windows 98 PCs as an
account (or accounts) on the Windows 2000 PC....
