Password required for access?

I just added another computer to my network, running
Windows 98. I have no problem connecting to the network,
but when I try to access one particular computer, the
main computer, it says, "A password is necessary to make
this connection." I've never seen this before on any of
the other computers accessing the main Dell computer
(running Win2000), and there is no password that I know
of. I don't have this problem when accessing any of the
other computers either. Anyone know why this might be or
how I can fix it?

If the password request appears when trying to access a Win2000
computer, the solution is to log into Windows 98 with a user name and
password that match a user account on the Win2000 computer.
