Parental Controls - Disabling Local Network Connection

I just recently installed the MN-700 basestation and
proceeded to play around with the Parental Control
filters. As instructed, I input the IP addresses of the
PC's within my home: including my own. I then proceeded
to test the controls with my own machine; by typing
various obvious keyworks for filtering purposes.

After updating the router settings, I proceeded to use
google to find sites containing the filtered words.
After attempting to access two off-limit sites, my
machine was "disconnected" from our home lan.

I rebooted my machine & still I couldn't access my local
network or the internet. I had to cycle power on both my
machine and the MN-700 router to regain access.

Two questions:

1. Is this a standard, expected behavior?
2. Are there any doc's on MN-700 Parental Controls?
Nothing is mentioned in the MN-700 user guide.

Add it too the growing list of "Things which cause your MN-700 to lockup",
I've noticed this also.

The firmware is not exactly bug free shall we say.
