"The parameter is incorrect" error message when accessing BNU soft

I get the above message when trying to access the BNU software. Tried to
reinstall using new download from the website but still same message returns.
This is on a XP SP2 computer. I know we do not require this software here
but curiosity has taken over...
Have an MN-700 all working great
