Set the network adapters at both ends to 10 MBits/s &
half duplex. Does the problem still occur? If not, got to
10 MBits/s & full duplex, then 100 MBits/s & half duplex,
100 MBits/s & full duplex, Autosense.
The results will indicate if your network cabling is capable
of sustaining an operation at the maximum speed. Packet
loss usually indicates an excessive error rate.
