Hi - I have recently set up a wireless network in our home which comprises:

1 - Main computer
2 - Laptop A
3 - Laptop B
3 - Laptop C
4 - Family PC

Main computer and Laptop A are secured so that no other computer in the
network can access the files or folder and will not even recognise them to
be on the network while the other computers can share files, folders etc
with each other.

The main computer and Laptop A have full wireless access to all computers in
the network.

I would like to set up OE 6 so that emails go to the correct location, but
am a little stumped as to how to do this.

Is there a guide that I can download that will help me out, please?

Thanks

OE6 is your E-mail "client" software. You can run OE6 on any one of your
computers, or on all of them.

It's very common to configure OE6 on the "main" desktop computer and on the
traveling laptop, as well, so that both computers retrieve messages for the
same E-mail account. Just be sure to set the account properties to "leave a
copy of the message on the server".

Yep, I thought that was the case - but how on earth do I create separate
identities and set up the routines to distribute the correct email to the
correct computer, please?

You DON't "set up the routines to distribute the correct email to the
correct computer".

You set up E-mail clients on one or more computers to RETRIEVE E-mail from
the E-mail server associated with your account(s).

MS Outlook Express does not distribute email, it fetches email. If you want
a mail distribution application you will need to find one. If you have one
computer that you leave on most of the time, that would be the computer on
which to install such software.

I use a program called, "Mercury Mail". It is free, and it is modular, so
you only install the modules that you actually need. You could set up the
"POP3 Distributing Client", which would fetch email from all of your POP3
services. It will distribute email to the proper accounts, and the users
can connect to it in place of their regular POP3 servers.
