Can anyone recommend a web site blocker for WinXP that does all of the
following:
- Block sites at certain times of day with flexible options.
- Must be able to have different settings for different users (shared
computer).
- Cannot be easily disabled.
- Not bloatware.

I know I can set my own proxy but I don't have time for this ATM.

That's a firewall. Not really what I want, thanks all the same.

Hmm, if you're trying to thwart a horny teenager, best of luck!

It looks like it is. You have described the functions of a
configurable firewall very well indeed <LOL>.

OpenDNS does a reasonable job at restricting particular sites like pron,
gambling, drugs, games etc but you can whitelist specific domains
like... xboxlive etc.

Not anything as specific as OP requested. Best solution would be
upgrading to windows 7 and setting up user account controls.

Still won't get around video sites with a simple "yes I'm over 18"
button like Daily motion etc. ..... aparently..

I presume this is for children?

On my linux box I specify different logins for each member of the family
and then I use the procon latte (stupid name) plugin in Firefox on the
kids' accounts. It's not perfect, but is easy to use and works well for
my 6 & 8 year olds.

It works with white lists, black lists or by simply filtering content.

Right now I haven't got the resources to set up a firewall. I just
want something quick I can install on a PC.

I want something to limit the use of Facebook and other "recreational"
sites while the kids are supposed to be doing homework or revising for
exams. I'm not looking for total blocks on certain sites all the
time. That's easy to do.

Definitely not. I don't want Win7.

Again, that's a complete block. I want to control access for certain
periods of time only.
