OT - resizing file folder windows in XP

I have reszsed one my file folders. When I close the file and then
open it sometime later, the folder has resumed its original size.

Can anyone help?

Try

TOOLS > FOLDER OPTIONS > VIEW
under ADVANCED SETTINGS you'll find REMEBER EACH FOLDER'S VIEW SETTINGS.
Select it.

While you're there, you'll probably find several other settings you'd like
to change
