Now sorted. Carlessness on my part. That 'nonesuch' entry turns out to
be what I'd entered at after a recommendation in a thread elsewhere
last year, when I was on DialUp, to successfully solve the problem of
routing all email to my main instance of Agent.
I've now unchecked 'Receive Mail with POP' (greying the nonesuch
entry) and instead checked 'Receive email with SMTP'. Happily, I can
now download messages from various 'special' servers in this instance.
