OT: POP3 error?

My brain is clearly even more frazzled this morning than usual. I'm
trying in vain to access a few 'proprietary' news servers, like
news.jasc.com etc, as I used to do occasionally with my 56k dial up.
But clearly something has gone adrift in my Agent settings, as I keep
getting this message:
Error reported by winsock driver: Host name not found (Error 11004):
Looking up pop3.nonesuch.invalid

I have no idea where that 'pop3.nonesuch.invalid' comes from. Can
anyone point me in the right direction please?

Now sorted. Carlessness on my part. That 'nonesuch' entry turns out to
be what I'd entered at after a recommendation in a thread elsewhere
last year, when I was on DialUp, to successfully solve the problem of
routing all email to my main instance of Agent.

I've now unchecked 'Receive Mail with POP' (greying the nonesuch
entry) and instead checked 'Receive email with SMTP'. Happily, I can
now download messages from various 'special' servers in this instance.
