OT.
We get lots of questions on BB providers here as we should, many people are
offered Phone + BB which seem to give best lowest prices. These seem to
bring the most complaints on poor BB.

I have my phone and BB separate. (Very, very happy with this ISP.)

My ISP does not do phone service, so at the moment I'm with the Post Office
advantage a one month contract. (Very, very happy with this ISP.)
Dis-advantage only one price package inc. Evening and w/e calls free.
Would like one that includes day time as we are retired. Always watching
the clock to see if it 6pm yet.

Any recomendations would like to avoid a big leap in cost and a long tied in
contract.
It is a BT line but rent collected by PO believe BT would therefore charge
for transfer.

Same here; with Tiscali atm but thinking of changing :-)) and looking for a
similar set up.
Plusnet has its scheme:

but Martin Lewis' site seems to reccommend using separate providers and
going with BT for line and using override for calls (override may be used
with Plusnet as line/call provider, I was told yesterday).
