I'm a software professional and want to learn more about networking. I
already have a good understanding of Win 2000 client and wanted some
practical experience of networking and was looking for some voluntary work
in a suitable environment - can anyone recommend and companies,
organisations or charities who would be willing to take on a volunteer in
this capacity? Looking in the Windsor to Woking, or surrounding areas,
either in the evenings or weekends.

Thanks

Try schools! We'd take you, but we're not in those areas. Maybe post in
uk.schools.education-it ?

Thanks for the tip, I think I will try schools. My only worry is that it
won't be in the evening or weekends, but I'll give it a shot.

Anyone else have any ideas where else I can try?

Thanks again

Well if you ware looking to do more server side stuff then a lot of that is
best done out of hours when machines can be rebooted etc.
