I have just signed up with orange.co.uk for a free email account linked to
my phone, so I could use their POP3 email with Outhouse Express : -}

Unfortunately it appears that their POP server isn't working for me. Can
anyone suggest an alternative free email service that allows you to access
your account using Outlook Express?

Thanks In Advance. Steven

Not free, but for a very moderate cost: about 0.20 GBP per year. Just
about any Pay-A-You-Go Internet Service Provider will offer you a POP3
mil account. You have to connect to the ISP from a BT landline typically
once every 90 days to keep the account. If you don't have a BT phone,
get someone with a BT phone and modem to do it for you.

Gmail does POP3. I've sent you an invite.

However, what exactly is the error message you're getting?

Claranet trial account; Plusnet pay as you go account as long as you have
Net access you can pickup. There must be dozens of others.
OE is just an email client, which should work with any old POP3 server.

Thanks I have now received your email invite.

I have just tried signing up for an email account with GMail, unfortunately
it kept sending me around in circles. On filling out the form I pressed the
button at the bottom and it took me back to the start of the sign up
procedure.

If it does that, it is likely something you filled in isn't valid. Check next
to the fields again - does it say anything? Perhaps your chosen name@ is
already taken?
