OT: FTP site recommendation?

It's been months since I tried accessing my free Pipex DialSpace by FTP and
it no longer seems to work. Just freezes without connecting. That's with both
of my two FTP programs. I can view my files on the site OK, at
http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/terrypi...3/Photos03.htm etc.

Can anyone suggest a reliable, publicly accessible FTP site I can try, to
help isolate the problem please?

Sorted thanks. I rebooted my PC (rare event) and the site was then
accessible.

And so they have. *smirk*

I left Pipex back in July 2006. Up to a month ago, they were still
hosting one of my sites on that user space!

You can FTP from the command line if you care to learn the commands.
