Can anyone point me to a guide on setting up the Draytek 2600 ADSL
router Syslog please?

I have downloaded the Router Tools, but can't seem to get any output
from the router showing up in the syslog app...

Navigate to the router config page, by default it will be http://192.168.1.1
on the right hand side you will see an entry Syslog. In there enter the IP
address of the machine running the syslog software. Simple as that.

I'll try.....

Ensure that Syslog Access is enabled in the Vigor's 'System Management
- Syslog Access' menu. Enter either the IP of the computer running the
Syslog daemon or your LAN's broadcast address (so that all IPs in the
subnet can monitor the router). Leave the default port at 514. Reboot
the router (not usre if this is necessary but I did anyway). Start
Syslog on your monitoring computer and in a few seconds you should see
the 'WAN Status' and 'ADSL Status' info fill in - job done!

I'm no expert, but that's the procedure I followed and it worked for
me. Hope it does for you.
