How do I get Symentec's news group forums please? (I want to enquire
about a problem with LiveUpdate, as posted here separately.)

For my usual newgroups I use news20.forteinc.com. If instead I try
service.symantec.com, and then use Get New Groups, I see brief message
in the status line of Agent 1.93, something like 'Connection Closed
Unexpectedly by Server'.

Try "symantec.support.winnt.nortonantivirus.genera l"

This group is available with my ISP news feed (Nildram) so don't see why it
shouldn't be available with your feed.
