Have a problem with WINDOWS server 2k sp3. and workstations are XP
PRO.
the server got trashed and i had to wipe the windows directory and
setup the active domain again.
Even though the domain is the same name, the server is the same name,
the users are recreated the same with passwords. The workstation
will think the domain is different because it didn't join THIS domain.

Is there a way to have the workstation rejoin the domain without
unjoining, reboot, rejoining, reboot then because of that procedure
the user profile now has a 2nd NEW profile for the new domain:
ie: bobA.domain.local when they rejoin the domain you will have the
profile of bobA.domain.local and bobA.domain.local01.

also is there a way to do it from the server VS going to each
workstation. I know 2003 has a way but doens't seem to have it in win
2k.

any help would be appricated even if i have to migrate the orphaned
profile.
