Orinoco wireless card. I'm going to use it for wireless in linux
primarily, also windows. And for administrative purposes to sniff my
networks. Is this card good?

Manufacturers keep changing the chipsets in their cardsi while keeping the
same name and advertising, so noone can say
without getting the detailed specs. of the card.
