Orinoco Gold Client Manager for Linux?

I use the above mentioned PC card and recently installed Linux on my
laptop (Xandros). 100% of my system was recognized and all works just
fine.

I do miss, however, the nice little colored bar graph and SSID
selector that the windows client manager provided.

Does anyone know if this or something like it is available for Linux?

Thanks

There are a set of config/monitoring tools available for a command
prompt or "shell", called iwconfig. Then, there is a KDE-based front
end for the tools called KDE-WiFiManager. And I think that there is
also a GNOME-based front end available also.

And for older distros, there is also the predecessor to this program,
called K-Orinoco.

You'll find both of them over at Sourceforge.net

http://sourceforge.net/projects/kwifimanager/

The KDE Wifi Manager is a graphical tool to configure and monitor
wireless LAN PC-Cards. This program suite is for the K Desktop
Environment, version 3. It is the direct successor of the application
suite "KOrinoco", which was designed for KDE 2.

The program is available in "source", tarball, and RPMs for certain
distro/versions.....:-)
