I just bought 2 pieces of ORiNOCO AP-600 b/g a few days ago. To test
this AP, I have it to transfer a very big file from on PC to another
PC through this AP. The test time was planned to be about 3 days.
Unfortunately, after about 48 hours test, this AP was burned out. The
power light is solid red, the user guide says the SDRAM test failure.
I test my 2nd ORiNOCO AP-600 b/g, again, after about 2 days later, it
burned out again. This time, all LED is solid amber, user guide says
bad bootloader image.

Any one had this experience before?

I have not seen any problems like this. My suggestion would be to return it
to the dealer and request a replacement unit.

Did you try to see what it shows on the serial port?

Regards,
Johan
