Is there a BT Order tracking website to track Broadband installation ?

I think you'll find this is it:
https://www.cs-server1.bt.com/hhway-...UM=YYYYYYYYYYY

- where the 'xxxs' are the a/c no. on your BT bill (2 letters, 8 digits)
and the 'yyys' your phone no. with area code

But it doesn't really track anything. Just gives you confirmation of
the date the order was placed, and what it consists of.

You only find out the activation date when they tell you your line is
now active (unless your ISP tells you before then - Plusnet didn't
tell me in advance).

I ordered on 6th, BT received it 7th. Still no service regrade. And that on
a BTBusiness line too. God help the poor home users out there.

The Pipex web site told me the scheduled activation date. In practice my line
was activated several days early which I found out by connecting an ADSL modem
to it.

Well I ordered mine on Saturday 4th, but of course it was not
submitted to BT until the 6th. My line was activated on Monday 13th.

I understand the problem that BT had where they "lost" a bunch of
orders for a few days mostly affected regrades rather than new
installations.

you can see once BT have completed the order though, from that point, you
should be able to connect, if your ISP have added you to their
authentication server. BT completed mine 2 days early.
