Hi,

I am able to connect from home to my desktop at work through remote desktop.
Another user in the office has asked me to set them up from home as well. I
already have port 3389 open for my connection. I open up port 3390 as well
on the router for the other user's connection but it doesn't work. I'm
using a D-link DI-604 router. We both have static ip addresses in our work
computer. Any help is appreciated.

You can't.
You need to use VPN in the first place. Once connected over VPN, *then* you
connect to remote desktop. You should not expose RDP directly to the
internet as you are doing.

After you set up the DLink to allow 3390 you have to configure the
workstation to listen for RDP on 3390. Check out:

Hope this helps,

Hi Lou,

Actually it's 3389 TCP and UDP.
