Hello All,

I need your advice:
Our office recently splits into two. One remains in the old address.
Another move to a different city. The employees in the new office have a
hard time trying to open files shared in the file server that is staying in
the old office. We use a DSL line with Downstream 1536kbp, upstream 384kpb.
Some of the files are very large and take very long time for user to open.
We have to keep the files in the old office because employees in the old
office also need to access them. And we would like to leave files in the
same repository. I would to know if there is any Microsoft technology, or
and setting in Windows that we can use to make file transfer more quickly.
We currently use Window 2003 in the new office. And the file server in the
old office use Windows 2000, but with an option to upgrade to Win2003.
Thank you very much for your advice!

No there is not. You line is too slow,... way too slow. Even if you were
1536 both directions it would still be slow.
