Only with Firefox do I get a network connection request after installing a new Belkin

After installing a new Belkin Pre-N wireless router. I now get a
request for a network to choose from to connect with the
Internet.After clicking cancel the connection works fine. But by
clicking any links the request window will pop up again.
It doesn't do this with Explorer, Agent or Pegasus.
Thanks in advance for any tips to this problem.

In Firefox, check Tools -> Options -> General -> Connection Settings.

I've looked at and tried the connections settings. But I still get the
same request for a connection manager.
